Kaskanioti Katerina - Pay TV Executive Director
She was born in Athens and holds a degree from the School of Philosophy of the University of Ioannina, with a specialization in Psychology. Her postgraduate studies were in Business Administration and attended a great number of seminars on cinema and television.
She began her professional career in 1989 as a producer of commercial films and continued as Executive Producer in the advertising company Mc Cann Erickson, where she was in charge of the production of multiple television and radio spots for Greek and multinational clients.
From 1997 to 2008 she has been an Executive in NETMED GROUP, assuming regularly additional duties in several sectors of pay TV. She started as the Director of KTV, the first children's channel, continued as Business Development Manager, moved on to the Direction of Novacinema channels and since 2002, she has been the Director of nova, the first pay TV digital platform.
She is in charge of the programme's strategy, which is the planning, the evaluation, the production, as well as the negotiations with Greek and international content providers. In parallel, she supervises and coordinates the platform's operations, inclusive of the departments of subtitling, electronic program guide, on demand etc.
From 2008 and up to our days, and since Nova's acquisition by Forthnet was completed, she has been holding a Director's post in the Company, with new, broader duties.
She currently holds the position of Chief Pay TV Officer.
