NATIONAL NETWORK OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION 'SYZEFXIS' & 'Mini-SYZEFXIS'
It is about the network that interconnects more than 4,000 Public Sector entities throughout Greece.
Forthnet was declared as a contractor for the works 'SYZEFXIS' & 'Mini-SYZEFXIS', 'Sub-works 3', that concern the Prefecture of Thessaloniki and serves 240 entities of the Prefecture, providing voice and image data services to more than 20,000 employees of these entities.
SYZEFXIS network constituted a spearhead of innovation for the operations of the Public Sector. Forthnet wholly materialized the 'Sub-works 3', offering and installing equipment and connections at the entirety of the entities as well as accomplishing a specific planned training to their employees, thus creating the grounds for a successful implementation of the methods of the e-Government.
Furthermore, SYZEFXIS network offers telephony services free of charge among the entities, decreasing drastically in this manner the telecommunications expenses of the Public Sector.
PANHELLENIC MPLS VPN NETWORK FOR THE WORKERS SOCIAL BENEFITS ORGANIZATION (ORGANISMOS ERGATIKIS ESTIAS-OEE)
After a relevant tender that was conducted in September of 2010, Forthnet undertook the materialization of the Pan-Hellenic MPLS VPN network of the Workers Social Benefits Organization, which consists in 71 points throughout Greece.
The work was delivered in due time and was received by the competent commission for the receipt, on February the 9th 2011.
